Why We Built This Site
Minnesota court records and sheriff's records are public in a broad sense, and that is exactly what makes them hard to use. Nobody holds the whole picture. The Minnesota District Court in Lincoln County sets the charge, the bail, and the release conditions, and its file is where a warrant event shows up. The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office serves the process and holds the custody record. Minnesota Court Records Online is a case search, not a warrant index, and its name results leave out some pending matters.
A person can check the court website, find nothing obvious, and conclude the matter is closed. That conclusion may be wrong. This site maps the offices, the phone lines, the request routes, and the case-number formats that make a check reliable, so a reader starts where the record actually lives.

What We Cannot Do
This site is a reference, not an office. Several things that readers ask for are simply outside what a private website can do.
- We cannot look up a warrant for you, and we hold no case data of any kind
- We cannot tell you whether a matter is active, because only the court file and the sheriff's record can answer that
- We cannot recall, quash, or clear a warrant, since only the issuing judge can change a warrant's status
- We cannot post bail, arrange a surrender at the Law Enforcement Center, or speak for the sheriff
- We cannot give legal advice, and we do not screen attorneys for anyone
- We cannot promise that every phone number, hour, or figure on this site is current today
Only the judge who issued the warrant or the sheriff's office that serves it can confirm whether it exists and whether it has been recalled. This site can point you to that office, and the answer has to come from them.
Search Partners
Search boxes appear on the warrant pages of this site, and outside companies run them. Those providers set their own prices and their own data practices. If a search leads to a paid signup, this site may receive a referral fee, which helps cover the cost of keeping the pages online.
What those tools return is not an official warrant status. Confirm anything that matters with the Lincoln County District Court or the sheriff's office before acting on it.
